Stay in a 300 years oldTuscan country home.  Walking distance to a small village.  Pisa, Lucca and the beaches at the Mediterranean is not far away . Lots of space for children to play. Beautifully situated with an excellent view.

 

Three apartments in traditional Tuscan style.  All have kitchen and bathroom. Mosquito net on all windows.  Washing machine available.  See pictures, and read more about the apartments HERE.

All apartments have private space outside.  In addition common gardens with orange trees and splendid view.  Parking on the property.  The owner, Carlo, speaks English and lives in Pisa.

Walking distance to the villages of Castelmaggiore (600 meters) and Ponte Grande. There you can find small general stores, places to eat, and the bus to Pisa.  The centre in the municipality (Calci) is 1.7 km away.
A narrow gravel road leads to the house and we recommend against arriving with a very large car.
The nearest beach is Marina di Vecchiano, 25 km away.  The beaches south of Pisa are 27 km away.  To Pisa 11km, Lucca 24km, Firenze 75 km, Siena 125km.

 

Examples of prices for one full week in 2009: Forno for two persons - 408 euro.  Sofitta for three persons - 617 euro.  Nella for nine persons - 1215 euro.  All three apartments for 13 persons - 1992 euro.  Minimum rental period is three days.
